Low power AM3 motherboard

Post by echosystm » Sat Oct 23, 2010 1:08 am

Hi guys

Can anyone recommend me a good low power MATX/ITX motherboard? I'm looking for something very plain and I do not need fancy features. I intend to use an Athlon II X2 235e or one of the 260u/270u models, if I can find one. The motherboard must support AMD-V, if that is not already a given.

Thanks!

I use a MSI 785GM-E65 with a 605e cpu: it's mATX, it has SVM support/management in BIOS, and it's still one of the most efficient AM3 board around. Last but not least, it works reasonably well with linux fancontrol and windows SpeedFan.
