Which one to choose: HD103SI or HD203WI Samsung drive?

I currently have a 1Tb and 500Gb Samsung drives. But I need to replace my 500 Gb drive with either the 1,5Tb or the 2Tb Samsung model. Silentpcreview has review the 2Tb HD203WI, but not the smaller, and I cant decide which would be better. The storage size doens't matter that much, but which one of the drives is quiter?

I'd really appriciate answers today, since I have to make this decition today!

But can you tell me is it even quieter than the 1,5 Tb F2 Ecogreen HD154UI drive? Here in Finland the 1,5 F2 HD154UI cost 74.90 € and the 2 Gb HD204UI 93,90€. I would only need one or one and half terabytes of storage space and would not care to pay the extra 19€ for another 500 gigabytes of storage. But I would be willing to pay it, if the HD204UI –drive is quieter.

The review states that the F3 was a disappointment, but does not specify which of the many F3 drives.

Both the 1.5 TB and 2.0 TB F4EG models are 3 platter, I think their noise should be similar. Just buy the one of Samsung F4EG which fit you. I've just bought a HD204UI and it's definately a more quiet drive in idle compared to my WD15EARS. The WD15EARS is shaking my case, my Samsung is dead quiet!

All my drives where replaced because of getting to small ;-)

Technically the HD204UI will have about 667/500 faster transferspeed.
The HD204UI is also cheaper /GB
