Xigmatech Loki, Big Shuriken or other <135mm for X6 1090T

Post by expatCanuck » Wed Sep 28, 2011 7:26 am

Greetings -
Looking for a cooler 135mm or shorter (i.e. - fits in an LC17 / LC13E) to cool an X6 1090T.
My regular Rev. B Shuriken isn't quite up to the task under load (it was previously cooling an X2 Regor 250).
Candidates include Xigmatech Loki & Big Shuriken.
Thoughts?

The Big Shuriken is about on par with the Shuriken rev. B, with reference to cooling power.

You may give a look to the Thermalright AXP-140 (not cheap, as any TR), or to the Scythe Samurai ZZ, on the "cheap" side (it's better than the SD964 at low speeds, which is the big brother of SD963).

Prolimatech Samuel 17 and Cooler Master TX3 may also worth a look.
