SandForce SF22XXseries SSD BSOD issue HASN'T been solved yet

Post by quest_for_silence » Tue Oct 18, 2011 3:28 am

Exactly two months later the Intel announcement about their 320-series SSDs, apparently SandForce (OCZ) fixed their more recent elusive SSD issue too (last link is to a .pdf file).
Eventually I hope that things get clear soon even for Crucial.

Thanks/credits to kuzzia for having reported here this long awaited news as first.

EDIT: unfortunately these news were too good to be true.

Thanks for the heads up.

I have updated my OCZ Solid3 120G to the BSOD fix (OCZ version 2.15) using the linux based firmware update boot CD.

Unfortunately it would look like that OCZ/SandForce is still in trouble with BSOD issues on the SFF2200 platform, even after releasing the 2.15 FW.

So check OCZ Support Forum for more info.
