Firstly, thanks in advance to those who give me advice.

On to the questions...

Do you think the following build would be wise? Is it too small? Does smaller the case mean more heat?

I've done my research, and people have managed to fit a full size GPU in this Mini-ITX case by Silverstone, the Sugo series.

If I can't fit the GTX 570, then I will go for the GTX 560 Ti.

The build...

Mini-ITX, Silverstone Sugo Series + 450W PSU

Sparkle GTX 570 (known for its silence)

or

Sparkle GTX 560 Ti (Also known for its silence, and smaller than the 570)

Personally i dont like it, all its too cramped and hard to work with, now if you need or like a small case style then go ahead, this is more a personal decision than whats best, there are much bigger cases with much better airflow like HAF X at the expense of noise, now here is where you should decide what you want and aim for that, you are on a forum that likes quiet computing, there are lots of options for building around a form factor like mATX, like Fractal Design Define Mini, Antec P180 Mini, Silverstone TJ08-E (if you undervolt the front fan), or in ATX Fractals Design R3, Antecs P183v3, 280, Solo II, (to mention some, but there are lots of options). Im sure there are options for mITX, but not as wide as for the other factors, you could try, if you feel there is a gain in the size, personally i would use mITX for HTPC with a case like H3 or alike, or a small NAS with Q08 etc, but for buidling a gaming pc, i dont have a need for going that small, i dont go to LANs, micro atx for me its small enough, again here is a more personal choice for you, if you really need or will gain something going into mITX, go ahead.
