Hello

Presently own following system:
CPU: Phenom II X4 955 BE
Coolermaster GeminIIS + CM 12Cm Cooler
Mb: Asus mATX
VGA: HIS IceQ 5750 1 Gb
HDD: 2 x 500 Gb WD HDD (Caviar Green & Black)
RAM: 4Gb Kingston DDR3
PSU: Corsair TX650
Case Lian Li V350

Following can be upgraded:
- 2 x 12 cm Intake Fans(presently using Lian Li V350 supplied ones) - these are actually not so bad.
- 8 cm outtake fan (presently using Noctua 8cm fan) - also 9 cm fan can be installed - presenlty 2 HDDs are on 41-43 Deg after 2-3 Hours of Gaming
- 12 cm Cooler Master Fan on CPU - this is way too loud even on 60% of max RPMs (1800 RPMs are on 100%)

I need the following advise - to which Fans I can upgrade all below listed ones to receive more quiter and more performance system.
For CPU Fan I'm even ready to use 14 CM Fan on the soft mouting brackets to receive adequate performance

Free things which work well enough for you:

- I've found that the CPU fan sucking up from the heat sink is noticeably quieter with a less annoying noise character than with the fan blasting turbulent air at the heat sink.
- You may not need the drive cage fan at all as the air from the 2 from fans has to exit where it can.

Try two Nexus fans. I have the same case and I found them to be quieter than the stock fans.

want to get rid of the Drive cage - but I have 2 HHDs + also the IR Control Module in the DVD cage, so one slot is already busy

Can you pls be more specific on Nexus Fans - which models do you use and where exactly - on CPU or Intake or else ?

I used the fans for the two dual case intake fans. But there is no reason not to use them on the CPU cooler.

What CPU cooler are you using? If it is stock, take a look at this:
