Case mods to this point:

• Full Acoustipack treatment;
• Modified the top spoiler to reduce noise while retaining top exhaust fan (see photos for details);
• Cut out the rear fan grill to reduce noise and improve airflow (will add some u-channel soon to cover the sharp edge);
• Removed PSU platform and middle fan bracket in the lower chamber to fit CP-850 and simplify cable management. This slightly weakened the structural integrity of the case, but the P182 is already built like a tank, so it's not a problem;
• Drilled holes in lower HDD cage to allow elastic suspension of 2x 3.5" HDDs;
• Installed Lian Li WB-01 casters;
• Modified the two front vent doors like this to improve airflow;
• Installed a Scythe Kama Bay in the 5.25" bays to improve airflow;
• Added 3x DEMCi Flex 120mm dust filters to front panel;
• Blocked up all vent holes on the rear panel, except for the tiny bit on the video card I/O plate;
• Re-usable cable tie + black twist tie attached to heatpipe prevents the video card from sagging.

The whole thing weighs 25kg.

• So noise from the top fan is muffled, but it can still exhaust air just fine

Update!

Purged the dust filters, the P182 just doesn't work with positive pressure, besides they added ~10c to load temps. Back to the green team as well -- gets a bit addictive on the OCAU trading forum... Also not as fussy with noise any more, though I still like a quiet rig.

• Added a Lian Li BS-03 PCI cooler. Not as much airflow as a proper side panel fan, but it moves enough air, while preserving the solid side panel.

The whole thing weighs ~28kg now. (:

Very nice . Been considering castors for my P183, but I think I'm just going to have to trade down to a lighter case - I attend LAN parties sometimes, and it's just too much!

Do appreciate a nice tidy build in the P18x series though
