Hello everybody. I've been pretty satisfied with the overall low noise level of my computer, and while I thought my 120mm pwm fans were the culprit to making a particular humming noise, it turns out it's not. It's coming from my corsair h60 pump (not fan) and has been annoying me! Do you guys have any suggestions to minimize it? I have the pump connected directly to the power supply since I have all quiet fans already connected to my motherboard. I have my doubts that adding any foam dampening to my side panels would do the trick considering my case is already quiet (antec p180 mini).
And this sounds like a crazy stupid idea, but what if I were to fit a speaker baffle over the pump? Would this do the trick? LOL.

With the H80 and H100, all you need to do is slow the pump to below 2000RPM. Should be the same for the H60:

I definitely thought about that, but I very much prefer the pump to run at full speed for the most part. I have my i5 2500k overclocked steady to 4.6ghz, and the only time it overheated was when I had the pump connected to the motherboard running between 2000-3000rpm.
What do you guys think if I make some sort of box cover layered with sound dampening foam covering the pump?

How quiet is the H60 when the pump is running below 2000 RPM? Is it completely silent?
