Motherboard for a HFX Classic build

Post by eugenius » Sun May 06, 2012 11:04 am

Please help me choose a motherboard for a HFX Classic build. I want a board like this:

Required:
MATX
Vertical SATA3 connectors (at least two)
One PCI Slot
Good undervolting
PS/2 keyboard connector (I have a Cherry ErgoPlus MX5000 keyboard).
MSATA Slot

It better have:
Good mosfet cooling or low temperature design on mosfet (Will be completely fanless)
Firewire by Texas Instruments
SPDIF Out (preferably RCA)

Ideally:
Thunderbolt header
Integrated Wireless/Bluetooth

The best I can find is Asus P8Z77-M, a low end board that lacks MSATA & Firewire. I don't know if it has good undervolting either.

Is there another board I don't know of that fits my descrption?

Have you checked any of the Zotac boards? They'll all have Bluetooth/Wifi and maybe one of their Z77 models will have Thunderbolt too.
