Prolimatech MK-26 graphics card heatsink

Post by IanM » Sat Aug 18, 2012 9:33 am

This isn't on Prolimatech's website yet, but it appears to be released and available to buy:
The specs say that this heatsink can accodate two 120mm or two 140mm fans! Potential for GTX 670/680 to be quieter than the Asus Direct CU II or Gainward Phantoms?

That cooler best kick arse, its almost £50 without fans (RRP from their website)

Compare that to the Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo II that I can buy for £30 that comes with fans and judging by the reviews is much better than the beefed up coolers that come with many factory overclocked graphics cards.

Is the Prolimatech MK-26, with two Noiseblocker Multiframe M12-S1 (750 rpm), able to cool an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680, inside an Antec SOLO II with an Antec TrueQuiet Pro 120 (600 rpm) as a lower front intake fan blowing onto the video card?

Here's a rather quick (aka: poorly done) review (in French).
http://www.cowcotland.com/articles/1152 ... mk-26.html

They used these fans:

1100rpm @ 12V
600rpm @ 7V

Pretty much the only review I could find of this cooler.
