Scythe Mugen 4

I've been really happy with my Mugen 2, if not for the raw performance than definitely for the price:performance. At $50 I think this is a little steep, but it depends on how it performs.

With Scythe USA going belly-up it's been hard for me to find any Scythe gear. Anybody else in the world able to get their hands on one? :-P

I was going to post this also.

I have a Mugen 3, and I think it was the best value cooler at the time I got it. I haven't kept up with cooler technology lately, but it seems that the Mugen 3 is outclassed by many other products out there. Is that true?

Hope to see reviews for the Mugen 4.

Overall dimensions have decreased as well as weight (assuming that's with the fan included). That would be great if its performance proves to be at least as good as Mugen 3, but too bad for the lack of distributors in North America.

it's a shame that it's so hard to find scythe products here. There's a mugen 2 at the local Canada Computers, clearance, for $30 CAD. Crazy!!

looking forward to see how the mugen 4 performs

I was going to post a separate thread "Scythe Shortage" but this thread will do. I tried to buy a Big Shuriken 2 and was pretty surprised to find almost everybody out of stock. The one or two retailers that have them are selling for 50% over list price! I guess Scythe doesn't care about customers in our remote backwater country (USA). Not many people here to sell to.

It is sad that Scythe Corporate is taking so frigging long to replace their Scythe US distributor.
