Optimal exhaust fan location in a CS-601 case

I got an interesting question for the fan specialists.

<BR>I owe a CS-601 case that has two rear exhaust fan locations. The first is located right under the PSU and aside the CPU fan. The second is about 80 cm below, i.e. lower than the PSU intake fan and below the CPU fan.
<BR>Now the question: in which hole would you put an exhaust fan to achieve optimal cooling and why? <IMG SRC="modules/phpBB_14/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif">

Usually, higher, because hot air rises, but not necessarily. The PSU is already blowing air out, there could be airflow interference between the 2 fans. Sometimes it's better to use the vent below the PSU as an intake with duct to CPU HSF. Usually drops CPU temsp a few degrees immediately because the outside air is always a bit cooler. Or do that with the lower vent, though the duct would get long. Why not experiment & tell us?
