Serial ATA looks like the way to go now (or at least the way I want to go for my next system). A quick search a few days back did not turn up many (any) of these drives readily available for sale.
Anyone know if the SATA version Cuda V's are readily available?

I read somewhere (I believe it was on StorageReview.com's forums) that the SATA Barracuda V has been delayed till March. I've seen stores list it, but none has them in stock.
Extremetech.com has a review of the SATA Barracuda V. http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,3 ... 269,00.asp

They say it's up to 25% faster than the PATA version, but still slower than the WD2000JB and the IBM 180GXP.
