Specs:
Case & PSU: Antec Sonata (Stock)
CPU: AMD 64 3200+
Heatsink: Stock AMD 64 retail heatsink (recommend for now till I find a quiet one that works with Cool & Quiet)
Motherboard: ASUS K8V Deluxe
Memory: Corsair XMS PC3200 512MB
Harddrive: Samsung 160GB SATA
Video card: Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600
Floppy Drive: Samsung Black FDD
Temporary parts:
CDRW: HP 9500 (Don't remember the exact model)
Secondary Harddrive: Maxtor 40Gb 7200RPM (I have it plugged in to copy data off it onto the SATA drive)
With the case closed, right now, the ambient temperature is 28 deg. C, the CPU is at 35 deg. C and motherboard is at 39 deg. C. The CPU fan is at 2960. I am not sure is the ASUS probe's numbers are entirely accurate, but placing my hand on the exhaust vent of the PSU, I only feel relatively warm air flowing out. I do not know the temperature of the Samsung harddrive, because apparently SMART is not turned on.
The Cool & Quiet feature is turned on. Right now at idle (typing in a textbox doesn't spike the Mhz) the CPU Frequency is 800 Mhz, and the CPU voltage is 1.2750V. I've seen it rise to 2000 Mhz, with 1.4750V briefly when opening programs, or ripping MP3s from a CD via iTunes.
This is the first computer I assembled myself, the hardest part was putting the heatsink on, followed by fitting the motherboard into the case. The floppy connector is pretty hard to reach in a Sonata.
I have everything wired except the Sonata blue show only LEDs wired. The front panel audio, and USB wires are the two white round wires at the bottom left and center. The power button, case speaker, HDD LED, Reset button, Power LED wires are at the bottom right. The white wire above the video card is the Firewire connection for the front panel. The grey wire on the left running underneath the video card is the CDRW's audio connector.
I had the hardest time folding the IDE cables, I still don't think I have them folded right, so I will be working on improving my cablegami.
Here's my attempt at Ralf-esque case wiring.

I hate to be a draft, but you are aware that ASUS has had an encounter with bad condensators? supposedly all K8V-boards are affected. Here is a link to an ASUS FAQ that explains some of it...
