How quiet is a Koolance Rig?

The attached rig is only $99 at Tiger Direct.

How quiet and how easy or difficult is it to maintain this system?

Thanks.

Wow!! -- where did they come up with that deal?...it is unbelievable...I emailed them awhile back and here is what they had to say:

Modes 1 and 2 produce 27-28.5db from front to back. And 29db from side to side.

Mode 3 produces 45-46.5db from front to back. And 52.5db from side to side.

6V (MODE 1&2), each fan produces 16cfm.

12V (MODE 3), each fan produces 32cfm.

Don't know about noise, but Koolance doesn't have a good rep for cooling from what I've heard. Neither does Tiger Direct... I know I've looked through some of the TD flyers and adds in different publications, and my 'Scam Alert' detector kept going into overload.

Koolance is a totally nice system, definetly the best all in one unit. Know real setup no need to mount all the pump and rad and whatever else inside your case.

People that have never used them say they don't cool well because the units has more of a low flow approach than most custom setups. Koolance only uses 1/4" hose so there is not that much water but it will definetly cool all that you need.

As for sound if you are not overclocking to the max you would probably change out the stock fans and put in three L1A's to quiet the system right down.

The fans are mounted in direct line-of-hearing with your ears, sitting on top of the case. That's a big no-no for silencing.
