Any VGA silencers that will fit in a SN45G ?

Are there any options for VGA silencers that will fit in the SN45G ?

Anyone ? I have a Radeon 9600 XT. I know the Iceberq 4 will fit in the case but nor sure if it fits on the XT model. Any ideas ?

Also, I would have preferred a fanless solution but not sure if any of then will fit in the case AND leave the PCI slot free.

I was also tempted to sell it and go for the 9600 XT Ultimate (fanless out of the box). I know this fits in the case but dont know if it keeps the PCI slot available for use.

Any ideas on these options ?

Any of the wrap-around passive vga coolers will almost for sure interfere with the pci slot. Anyway, even if you could get a pci card in the slot, it would block the airflow to the "inside" of the vga cooler.

The 9600 xt has holes for mounting the fan. Your best bet might be to try one of the Vantec or TT vga/chipset fans and reduce the speed with a fanmate or plug it into one of the spare fan headers on the borad and regulate the speed with SpeedFan.

hey on a side note. do you think the vantec would be good enough to keep an ATI 9600XT AIW cool? I'm trying to find a cooler solution for my girlfriends sb61g2v3.

I'm in the same boat. I have a 9800 pro w/ a Zalman and I can't close the case. I am thinking about cutting the case or put back the stock fan and cut a round hole on the side for the fan.
