Hey Maxamus

I remember reading something from one of Ralf's articles or thread about why he did not sespend his HDD and use soborthane strips instead. Do you hear any vibrations all?

How is the noise of the stock fan? i never even used mine at all.
Does it click at 5v?

Hmm... I will have to try out this stretch magic stuff. The price is right for it, and I bet I could find it at my local crafts shop.

Have you thought about giving the loop a half twist before putting in the drive? That way the stretch magic will keep the drive centered within the frame/cage.

Sup dude

How did you undervolt the antec? did you use a 4-3 pin adapter or something?

I hear no vibration noise from my samsungs but i do hear them seek sometimes. Its not a real problem. But do you think if i use this "stretch magic" wire it would elimate that seek noise?

I meant like this

Code: Select all

Cage Wall ->  || * [ hard drive ] * ||  <- Cage wall
           Twist ^ ^ Twist
Sorta like how it's done in this article:

What exactly is "stretch magic" wire?

I cant really see in your pic, it looks like a white wire that comes on some of my packaging stuff? Do they have it at home depot or a lowes or even a walmart? is it called "stretch magic"?

I have a samsung in my little bros comp suspended using this cheap no-vibe thing i got from svc but his case is really tall and has thick steel so i cant hear anything at all.

Nicely done!

I would have thought for sure that the drive bays would have had to come out. Looks good.

On a completely unsilent track.....what model speakers are those?

Hey Maxamus

I went to micheals today and they had a bunch of this elastic stuff. A whole bunch of stretch magic too

I got 1.0mm in black

I was wondering if you had any tips on suspending the HDD and knotting them.

I am gonna try this weekend.

thx
