If you ever get the chance to see Rammstein live, thou shall go. You can feel the pyrotechnics from 200M away

I've seen them perform live twice here in NYC. Pretty cool show. One of my favorite bands

You dont even have to understand German to appreciate it, my german is at the level of "Ich möchte eine panzerwagen gekaufen" and "Wo ist meine kugelschreibe?" Ein bratwurst bitte..

Im listening to my braincells thinking.

Now i was lsitening to excess fuel burning, just refilled the lighter and it always burns happily after getting fresh lighter fluid

Anyway now im going to do some soldering, for the love of god i cant find a RCA-->female miniplug converter.. or even a female-female miniplug cable. I need to connect the computer speakers(miniplug) to the soundcard(RCA) temporarily before getting an amp with RCA inputs, so i have to change the connector on a cable from male to female.. Oh well, i guess it cant be helped :)

btw continuing the off-topic, if anyone knows could you tell me if using ASIO drivers bypasses the kmixer in windows?

Madonna - Hung Up. Interesting tune, not really a cover of ABBA but the "thing"(what´s it called?) is a direct copy(in lack of a better word),works really well.. :)

Your room(and of course your PC) must be very quiet  , however I remember statement that in very low ambient noise we can clearly listen to our heartbeat, rather scary right.

it's one of my lighter(I don't smoke at all but collect some cheap lighter), it has dual nozzle ala rocket end(don't knoe the right word) which able to light 4 cigar simultaneously.
"Dual core lighter " is better than 2 lighter, but then what's the purpose? not many people using multicigarretelightingtask at the same time with extended period. However it's cheap at $5.

Listening to A Teens-Upside Down :D

I guess i could say i live in a very quiet environment surrounded mostly by forest, in a stonebrick(whatever the blocks are called) house with triple windows and really nothing except the computer making noise.. So at night when my bro isnt listening to music at deafening volumes i can hear my ears. I dont have tinnitus or anything, its probably the blood flowing in my ears that i can hear or something..

And yes in an anechoic chamber you can hear your heartbeat when your ears gets used to the non-existant sound.

Yeah i know what kind of lighter you mean, they can be quite fun :)

I just have a regular street chrome zippo.

Not listening to anything right now, i installed the new ESI soundcard yesterday and i seem to have some problems, it sound great but starts sounding weird when defragging for instance. I also get "hickups" in games, im suspecting my cpu is dying. After all 1/3 of its pins were bent when the computer fell on the floor couple months ago, none broke(at least on the outside) and i bent them straight with my Leatherman tool(very delicate). theres thread about it somewhere here.. It still primes stable for 24hours though..

I hate having hardware prolems and not knowing the cause.

Anyway, its only 4pm and i feel like ill fall asleep right now..

a-teens,.. you must be drunk

Dismal Euphony - Et Vintereventyr.

The album is not the version with Keltziva on the cover, and the quality of the recording is not very good as Weldingheart said earlier.. The best word i can think of to describe the sound is muted. Or lets be honest and say it sounds like crap.. :(

Listening to Autumn Leaves now, i actually bought two of this, one with paper-covers and one with normal jewel-case :)

Dismal Euphony - Simply Dead

Edit: oopsie. added a not.. So i got the waterfall cover with a tiny Keltziva, not the other one :(

Ok the problems i had with the soundcard must be either my CPU or mobo.. the pops and hangups in the sound i mean, it got worse when lowering latency. I plugged it to my other computer, now running 64sample latency on this much slower computer and perfect noise, even 512sample had problems with my main rig(in the sig). Im glad its not the soundcard, but this kind of confirms that either my mobo or CPU is poopoo on the main rig :(

Dismal Euphony - 150 MP/H, from the album Lady Ablaze. "This disk contains demo-recordings, and some of these songs may appear on future releases" however none of these songs are on the other records.

Well actually like I said before, this is their weakest album, though the compositions are good if they it mixed correctly. But at that time their songs were really inspiring and brought gale to the Scandinavian metal rings.
However if you listen their albums after have listened to many bands after 1997 periods that had inspired from the previous ones and do better music, Dismal Euphony's songs may sounds very immature and get very common/"something that had been played thousand times before" feeling

Your surrounding must be exciting by nature, is there also some lakes there? Lake Bodom maybe? (I've read the story behind which little soundalike American teen thriller)

I get different symptom, but also related to the sound playback after I dropped my abit orb NB cooler on the motherboard-along with unusable DIMM 1&2 slot, it will generate harsh hiss and hangs randomly when playing games and I believed my Audigy2 was fine. After get the board repaired,it went off. But sometime that bug come again though very seldom(1:100 maybe).
It's something supranatural I think :? , experience it,but when go to the Abit's dealer to get it repaired the problem is not persist anymore.

Lake Bodom is about 20km from where i live

I replaced the CPU with a 3700+ San Diego, same problem. And i dont want to wait for my mobo to get fixed, so i got a new Ultra-D. Would have got the MSI neo4-FI but i wanted a mobo today and so options were limited at best. I guess now i have to rip everything out of the case... i absolutely hate doing that, but i guess it cant be helped..

Madonna - Hung Up, still lazy

Im getting fed up soon.. got the new mobo installed and still have the same problem with sound!

Now the only thing left is that the DFi nF4 Ultra-D is incompatible with the ESi Juli@, i´ve tried different ram and PSUs in varous combinations with the two CPUs.. :x It seems to work slightly better with the Zalman psu than the Neo, but still pops and hangs up.

Now im running boxed cooler, stock chipset cooling, 256Mb 333mHz ram and old 400W Zalman PSU. Need to turn this sucker off before i go to sleep, wich is about now.. BZzZZzZZZzWhwhwohooooooOOOOOO!!

Ill probably pick up an ASRock DualSata tomorrow, its cheap and supposedly pretty good. If it works properly ill see what ill do.. If im happy with it i´ll stay with it, otherwise its MSI Neo4-FI. I am not changing the soundcard.

Maybe i should post all this in another thread, someone might actually have a solution.. Last post about this, promise

Boogaboo - Beast Gir. Eurobeat. Yay.

Ok now im turning this f*cker off..

Couldn´t help myself, i had to get this sucker working.. I reinstalled windows again, same problems. And the LG drive still worked only with PIO Only transfer mode, that f*cker. So i switch to the NEC and it works perfectly! 8) How the hell an optical drive can screw up so much is beyond my comprehension.. The thing that puzzles me most is that after the first LG drive went poopoo, even a new mobo, hdd, dvd drive and windows reinstall cant get them working but the nec works perfectly, WTF?! :?: With the LG installed even music files on the HDD had the same problems.. now that is freaky!

So now its working and i can enjoy music again :)

Currently listening to Within Temptation(she has a very nice voice that Sharon :) ) though now im really going to get some sleep
