I find it almost impossible to read an article with adverts flashing away down the sides. I have no choice but to block. I couldn't go back now. My problem is that I usually have anywhere between 30 and 150 tabs open at any time. If I allow ads and Flash (also blocked until I click something) all t...

I bought a 501LJ for my system and a 321KJ for one I'm building for a friend. I 've had quite a bit of trouble with the combination of these drives and Gigabyte 965P-DS4 (ICH8R-based) motherboards. It might just be that I'm less savvy than I thought, but via help from a few people on the ArsTechnica...

Can't really blame them can you? You should always store the receipts for all the stuff you own that's under warranty. If I throw the receipt away and an item breaks I blame myself, not the company. I don't think there's anything you can do. I agree with xcgames though, if they have a system capable...

Honestly, I don't concider it normal for CRTs to be noisy, and I have very good hearing. I've never seen a CRT TV that wasn't noisy - 50Hz sets whine like hell, 100Hz sets can be heard buzzing a bit if you get close enough - but good CRT monitors at high refresh? I've never noticed anything - at lea...

True, but to be honest, if your budget is so low that you have to settle for less that 85Hz at your preferred resolution, you might have a hard time finding a monitor that is "quiet". Also remember that any high pitched whine (not talking about buzzing) from the CRT usually tends to go away (out of ...

I'd go as far as to say that my FW900 is a bit better  No buzzing here either. Buzzing is mostly present in cheap low quality CRTs or very old ones. I don't get the point ...

They decided to make the tabs plastic for sonic reasons, but mounted the fans directly to the case/ to vibrating plastic?

Many of those plastic parts look very fragile - far more so than I would expect on a case in this price range - check out the close up of the door hinge... Anyway, for what it’s worth, they reckon the door and side panels feel “a little flimsy”. That's actually very dissappointing to me. If I pay a alot of money for a nice case, I want it to feel like quality, not cheap shit like the SuperLanboy sitting next to me :( I hope the panels are stiffer and ...

I expect it to retail at 20-40% more than that here in Denmark. We have to pay around £101 or $190 for a case like Silverstone's TJ06.
