I use a needle nosed pryer and just pull not too bad.Much better than using hand.EAR mounts worked well for me.Expensive though.

Large air bubble wrap also works well.Deflate the bubbles and left only enough of them to support the HD,or use strips of bubbles.I can't hear any difference between cool paks and the bubbles.

I use one single 120mm Fan for negative pressure air flow.The thing is the current room tempurture goes from -60 to 90+ F.The Nexus120 starts to struggle when room tempurture gets to 83+ even at full 12volt.I think no clear plastic fan for me .They really are more brittle.By the way E.A.R Fan mounts...

Summer's here. :shock: My PC is getting hot.New fan!New fan! My Nexus 120 at 12volt just isn't pulling hard enough anymore against air filters.I'm thinking Globe.But maybe Yate loon ?Papst?

bluefront has harddrive noise solutions in this forum.If all else fail.You can always water cool the thing with as much insulation as you want.Takes time is all.
