A Q6600 consumes less power than a Pentium D. It is not a question of whether the HR-01 will provide enough cooling (it will), but of how slow you can run the fan. Well, if I use it with the fanduct connect to the backside fan, it would be no problem, does it? I have a Nexus backside fan, it is pre...

Thermalright HR-01 will work with Q6600 ?

Hey,

Anyone knows if the Thermalright HR-01 running passive with
a fanduct connect to the backside fan, will be enough to cool down
a Quad-Core Q6600 ?

those tower heatsinks will work. But the Sonata has crappy intake airflow anyway. I'm not sure if it'd be a good idea to have a hot quadcore processor in there. Uh... I know there´s a lot of people how the air on Sonata don´t flow very well, but I´ve never had any problems and I only use 2 Nexus...

Hi! I am looking for users or someone who knows if the Sonata (first version), can have that large headsinks, like Noctua NH-U12F or Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme. I know this 2 headsinks have a height of around 16 cm, and the Sonata measure is around 20,4 cm, but I really need to make sure this wi...

Hi! Now that intel have made a rebate of the price of the core 2 duo processors, I would like to have some advise from this two, who should be more easy and will run faster if overclock? Also, my idea is to get a quad-core when the price fall (when it will be?) So if now, I will pay less for the pro...

Yes, i asked for the shorter nipples, but until today no answer...

When you see the temp of CPU going too high for your liking. Read the Akasa manual, it should give you some idea. Ultraboy, I have read the Akasa manual, and it says that the default alarm temperature for each sensor are: CPU = 65º HDD = 55º CASE = 45º POWER = 99º That means that if one of these te...

thermal sensors - "where to tape them"?

Hey,

I have 4 thermal sensors from the Akasa FC-03 fan control.
They are supposed to give temp of:

1. CPU
2. HDD
3. Case
4. PSU

I would like to have your opinion where exactly is the best place
to tape this sensors, especially the CPU and PSU.

Many thanks!
