I have an AMD64 running in an NSK2400 as an HTPC in an fairly enclosed area (less than 1cm on either side and top), back was enclosed as well but I cut a hole for most of the back end so it could get rid of some hot air. Not exactly your situation but certainly not ideal conditions and its been runn...

I had a fan arrive broken from Nexfan once. Sent him an e-mail and he asked if I could send a picture. Sent in the picture and a new fan was shipped out to me immediately. I've had nothing but excellent service from Nexfan after 5 or so orders.

SI-120 w/ fan is definitely no good...fits but doesn't leave any space for airflow. I ended up using an XP-90C in mine and it works fine so XP-120 may work as well.

definitely looks like the microfly. The NSK-2400 would likely be much better for both sound and temperature but its quite a bit bigger as well.

Great review! Just wanted to mention that Thermalright's compatibility list is pretty strict on the V-1/V-1 Ultra. I have a V-1 (non-ultra) on an x800pro (should be pretty much the same as x800xt) and it works just fine. Better than stock and very quiet. Also cut the connector off the stock heatsink...

I bet if you set your timings to 2.5-3-3-7, it would probably be stable...might need to bump up the voltage a bit but probably not. I prefer OCZ for their superior support/warranty rma and would definitely choose it over kingston.

I think they're just saying that its good enough to cool the cpu's that run at those speeds...which would be more than enough for yours. The only reason you wouldn't be able to use it would be if your mobo isn't compatible.

How can I reduce the PWM clicking noise my X800pro???

I have an ATI X800pro with a fan that makes the annoying clicking noise that goes along with PWM fan controls. Is there anything I can do to reduce this clicking noise?
