I'm running the smp client under Vista Home Premium,

One thing that has saved my sanity -

Control panel, security center, other settings, Turn of the $%&!@ user account control

Has made Vista very enjoyable for me :D

I wonder if having such a large side intake is really a good idea. The problem is that it totally annihilates the normal flow of air required to cool *all* components of a system. Sure, it will cool the motherboard, cpu, and video card, but what about the hard drives sitting in the front? I imagine...

JonnyGURU did a review of the GameXstream 700W Here is a quote from the review: Next, we take a look at the oscilloscope readings. While the power supply is subjected to the load tests, tiny fluctuations in voltage (called ripple) are output by the load tester. This output is then fed into an oscill...

Need advice on DDR2 ram

I'm building a system around this board: ABIT NF-M2 nView I could really use some advice on a 1GB stick of ram for this sysrem. The budget is $150 for 1 stick, less is certainly ok though :) Thanks in advance, -Nathan edit: I did some looking around on the Egg and found these 2 models: Patriot Extre...

natethegreat: Do you have a P180? So your RealPower is long enough to route properly, maybe under the mobo? Cause I read somewhere that the P180 uses really high standoffs, so hiding stuff under the mobo is easier than most cases. http://www.silentpcreview.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=28415&highlight=

Well according to SPCR the main cables on your Liberty are ~4" longer than the cables on my RealPower. I would go with the P180B. I love how the Ninja is so well suited to the airflow setup on the P180.

Nate The Great, I looked at the pic and I like how yours looks. I noticed you decided to not go with the PSU fan and you replaced all your fans with the Yate Loons. As far as overclocking, you stated that the Nexus fans are not the best in that area. Are the Yate Loons better? I noticed you have th...

I am not shooting for the quietist PC either; I would like to compromise for a overclockable silent PC, so in order for this to happen, I realize I must make the system a little louder in order to move the extra heat... This was also my goal and I am very happy with how it turned out. I was able to...

I just extended the tail on the VF-900 and connected it to one my Zalman ZM-MFC1 fan controllers switched channels, I leave it run at 5v and when I game (Ob...

Would it be feasable to use the 250mm fan as an exhaust? Set up on the side panel like that it would pull cool air from the front and rear, and at the same time remove the hot air generated by the cpu/gpu.
