I wish HP offered the PC in a mini-tower case.

I wonder if it would make sense to purchase this PC from HP and transplant the guts of the PC to a larger tower case from Antec. How easy/cost-effective would it be?

Tyrven, According to HIS HITECH website, their X1600XT comes with one Dual-link DVI (the other is a single-link dvi) port... I'm curious if you successfully tested both ports with the ACD 30". Dual, Dual-link DVI for $150 is indeed a steal. I'm looking to replace my Zalman cooled nVidia Quadro FX 34...

The new optiplex is not as quiet as I expected. The PSU got real loud once the 6800 GT went in. Also, the 120mm Thermal module fan has an annoying whine to it. My older Optiplex GX260 was quieter. I wish there was a manaul fan speed control available.

The power supply is running hot and the its fan noise is getting loud -- loud enough to negate the recent Zalman VF-700Cu upgrade. I need help in finding compatible replacement PSU. Dell's PSU conne...

Zalman VF700-Cu in BTX mobo

I want to share an image of the Zalman VF700-Cu and nVidia 6800 GTO inside Dell Optiplex 280GX case (new BTX form factor): http://img105.exs.cx/img105/8923/btx26bn.jpg http://i134.exs.cx/img134/4443/btx19lf.jpg Note that unlike an ATX mobo, the video card heatsink sits in direct air path of the CPU ...
