Ducting is a nice thing, my system is also a duct-based solution.

The fan in the PSU is the only one except for the one in the NVSilencer.

Introducing the "Dual-Micro" CPU-cooler!

Just made this monster of a cooler, works like a dream :) It can run utterly silent with minimal airflow and still lets you overclock hard! http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/6866/finished5wa.th.jpg For more info on the project, please visit this link: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread....

Asetek Micro on the CPU.. This cooler is sick i`m tellin`ya

32C idle @ 1,4Volt and 1800MHz.. and that is w/o a fan blowing on it  When running SuperPI 2M the highest temp was 39C (100% passive cooled)

DFI nF4 http://forum.hardware.no/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=4585962 I used metrical (M3) screws to mounth the cooler. Drilled the holes and tapped afterwards (see pic) http://www.emach...

Looks great. Once the silencer is installed the true genius on your NB cooler is revealed. What's the green heatsink for, RAM? Yes, that green thing is a ram-cooler, you can`t run UTT-mem @high speed/volt w/o cooling it! Made it a couple of weeks ago, link: http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthrea...

ArcticOC.....are you saying those heatsinks are DIY? If so, that's an incredible piece of work. Most of the work is done by hand. Will run test of the heatpipe cooler later this week. Also expecting Asetek Micro to arrive tuesday, all components incl. custom RAM cooler will be tested thogete...

IMHO, there is no reason to post pictures of that size, none at all. The first photo I got to load (modem) was over 1mb. And it did not need to be. There was nothing about the photo that required high-resolution. Reducing that photo to about 50k would speed everything up, and still look the same on...

It looks like you could have left more fins standing, no? (If you're reducing the multiplier on the CPU and using a divider on the memory, what exactly are you overclocking with the 350 HTT? Is your HTT multiplier at 3? I guess I never understood the point of high HTT ("FSB") if you turn down the C...

The solution doesn't look bad, although I don't think it's much better than a NB47J in terms of cooling power. But since it's usable on the DFI mobo, I must give it an A+. By the way, to overclock the chipset to 350 you must be either rich or insane ;-) I see no need to rise the 'FSB' more than you...

The current reports are that the Zalman NB47J is OK for the Asus A8N-SLI if you are not overclocking (compared with the stock HSF the temp increases by ~14C). Some ariflow over it is required however. There is also the Thermalright NB-1 with 45 mm fan - which would have to be slowed down a bit. I a...
