You should add the Silverstone Nt07 775 to this review, looks like a stock intel cooler, but very very quiet.... I reach 72°C (room: 26,0 @ 1345rpm -> loudness: Mugen 2 @ 800rpm) on a E6700 @ 1,2V. CPU overheat with stock voltage. @ Mike Did you read my last post? I work on a low-profile cooler re...

I work on a low-profile cooler review too. But there is a problem, which isn't called in this review. All Intel-Heatsinks are temperature-controlled. In a closed (test)system the fans of theese heatsinks rotate much faster with high load on CPU. Your measured fanspeeds are attainable only under room...

Scythe Ninja fanless VGA Cooler

CeBIT: Scythe shows a Ninja fanless VGA Cooler. It should be still available in this year. I held it in my hands today - it is very big and should perform better than the Accelero S1. http://www.abload.de/thumb/p1011616_ninjafanless_459a.jpg http://www.abload.de/thumb/p1011632_ninjafanless_k8ns.jpg ...

Any of those threee heatsinks are better than my "old" NInja. :)
In fanless mode the HR-01 Plus isn't better than the Ninja 1. Scythe Orochi and TR IFX-14 are recommendable too. (but quiet expensive)

@ jammi I think a active cooler (like Scythe Mugen 2) would be the better choice for your cpu. Your gtx280 and your four yate loon @ 800rpm are certainly not noiseless, wherefore a fanless cpu-cooler would be useless. But with your setup it could be possible to cool your cpu fanless. The power consu...

What heatsink do you have on yours? That looks like a passive VGA cooler to me  CPU: Coolermaster Gemini II NB: Enzotech CNBR1 SB: Enzotech CNBS1 (A little bit cutted on its border with a dremel because it was too big :D ) http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/8168/27135267cp0.th.jpg The Enzote...

The weight of the sonic tower is 700g. i don't think that this is to much to move your computer to go to a lan party. i went to several lan parties with a hyper 6 @ my old P4 and this cooler has a weight of 1000g. Another interest thing is that the pwm temps and the graka temps (6800le @ VM-101) are...

Without a fan the cpu temperature with the sonic tower doesn't rise above 57° (With the back case fan I think) CPU at 2400MHz @ 1,4V The casefan in the back is a Yate Loon D12SL-12 @ 5V (1300rpm @ 12V) -> 650 to 700rpm. Before getting the sonic tower i wouldn't believe too, that the sonic tower is ...
