Maybe I indeed have a bad D5 sample, it is a early model.
DDC was quite, seemed louder then MAG.
Of course my DDC's got REAL quite one day

"Eheim HPPS with Innovatek base on cotton and it's number 1 source noise in my system" That doesn't seem right Every Eheim I have has been very quite. Think maybe you have a problem with your pump. Clean it out and see what happens. MAG is very quite, D5 is ok at lower settings 1-2. I could be wrong...

I have had every pump indicated in this thread; here are my findings. 1.Ehiem - GREAT! 2.CSP-MAG - GREAT! have two now- same or better performance as Ehiem, about same noise level as Ehiem 3. DDC - JUNK! Had two fail and they are not as quite as Mag and Ehiem 4. D5 - LOUD! It is also very big, other...

$400!!! Thats crazy! Do not get me wrong; it sounds good on paper and from what I read on there WEB site, just $400 is a crazy price. Think this has a modifided CSP-MAG pump, which is a really good unit from long time experience I have with them. But this does not mean the whole system is great. It ...

"It DID start out quiet...but after about the first month a small touch of whine and some deeper noise has made itself known" I told you :( No one believes me at this other forum as well, they all say I am full of it and the D5 is quite http://forums.extremeoverclocking.com/index.php? I knew from wh...

Not sure if your going to use Ehiem 1048 or 1250? If 1048, CSP-MAG pump will work better, smaller, very quite and your MOBO can monitor it for any troubles. Replaced my 1048 for DDC, was cheap crap! Replaced DDC with Mag, so quite it scared me. Using Danger Den TDX block, going for second Mag and GP...

Overvolt? Well I guess but not on purpose. My mobo functions reads 12.83V, I do not have a volt meter to test for sure. Performance wise I only have a DDC to compare against, both would be running at same voltage, and the MAG gives me better results. I am using a DD TDX style block. I have mine moun...

Try this www.c-systems.ca I have one of the first, very small and quite :) Find a little better performance then DDC (when it was working that is), with less noise. Only problem is there now hard to get, my friend been waiting for his a few weeks now. I understand all dealers are out of stock as wel...

I read this article on pro forum and think you should look again. Difference between cheapest and most expensive (and noisy) set up? 2C! A good quite pump like 1048 will work within 1C of others. Not sure what you guys are doing with your set up's, but 1C is not worth that much money to me. I am mor...

Too quiet pump?
Hello all, wow another great forum ! Now that I have this water cooling stuff down I am working on lowering my system noise, so thanks for all the good reading. Just thought since everyone here is into low noise, I would share what I found with my lastest set up. I have one of the new csp-mag pumps ...

"Well I suspect the pump wasn't getting enough power to start. Either that or it's just decided to work again!" I think you should watch this pump carefully, I had one, and a friend has two. All three stopped and I even went out an purchased a new 600W power supply. Same as you, the pump started to ...
