Frankly, the term "quick fix" seems misleading, since there's very little "fixing" going on here. I think this has more to do with easing the strain on the power grid (which has been at or over capacity for the last 5 years) and scoring some cheap (no gov't money being spent) points. Take the percen...

haelduksf , just because something is yours, doesn't mean you can do whatever you want with it. For example, your organs are also, in a way, your property, and something you've produced, but you're not allowed selling them. That's because the government is meddling in my affairs. Yeah, that's what ...

Copyright may or may not be good for society, but that is irrelevant. What I produce is my property, even if it is not a physical product. If I want to release it under restrictive conditions, I should be allowed to do so. If I wish to release it under a Creative Commons or GNU licence, I should be ...

Looks like the 60mm in the Seasonic M12 is an Adda model, bodes well for noise. Enfin terminons par une très bonne nouvelle : Seasonic travaille sur une alimentation fanless mais aucune date de sortie n'a été avancée. Connaissant le sérieux de la marque, on peut se mettre à espérer à une al...

The ChenMing 601/Antec 1000 (reviewed ages ago on SPCR, it's on the recommended list) can take some eATX boards. I know from personal experience that the CPU fans on some SuperMicro mobos conflict with the HDD cages- if you don't mind losing them/suspending them elsewhere, you should be OK. I believ...

I don't remember where I saw the article, but I know that if you move the outlet 90 degrees, so that it is perpendicular to the inlet instead of parallel, the resistance decreases significantly. On the other hand, it also increases the flow rate so much that it moves as much water as a 650/655, but ...

I could have sworn that it's a pre-installed solution, a GeForce 6600GT from ABiT, AOpen or Gigabyte, but I can't find any proof, so I'm beginning to doubt. The closest I've seen is the Gigabyte (http://www.pconline.com.cn/diy/diy/0506/pic/IMG_0058_66gt_giga_thumb.jpg), but the one in your image doe...

If you're interested in passive setups, there are many other solutions besides the reserator. There's this bad boy , which is probably the most effective (you can use your own pump & blocks, and not some mediocre kit stuff), and the most expensive. This is very similar to the one in SPCR's Puget Sys...

The P-series is pretty small when it comes to watercooling- it's pretty hard to fit & route everything, from what I've seen. If you don't mind doing some modding, you can do well. Have a look here for examples: http://www.hardforum.com/search.php?searchid=2935516 If it helps you any, I'm running an ...

I'm not sure that I can answer *all* your questions, but I'll give it a shot. 1. I think that your idea B would be best. I'm far from sure of this, but it seems like it will distribute the heat better than A, and C seems to me like it might create pockets of warm water that would be difficult to cir...

You could try the Thermalright V-1...but then you probably lose your PCIe slot. The V-1 might even be able to run that card passively, if Legion's results with the x800XL are any indication.
