How do you measure the temp of the chipset ? You have an IR therm ? Or by using some internal mobo sensor (which can be terribly inaccurate) ? Have you tried the finger probe (touching the chipset HS and seeing how hot it seems to you) ?

Assuming you have the mobo from your description (ASUS A8V-E) you are actually overdoing it; there was no real reason to install a HR-05 on that chipset; a fanless HR-05 can keep at decent temps a nforce4 (a lot hotter than your kt890), so there is no reason to install a fan on it; I never used ZM-S...

RivaTuner can show you the amount of memory that a game uses; the idea behind having more memory is that games begin to use more and more memory; 256MB is already at the limit (and while most of the current games run just fine with that much, some already begin to show improvements (in some cases hu...

If you'll look at the updated bench, the roles are reversed :) .. the Ninja gets better temps than the Ultra-120 (http://www.silentpcreview.com/article46-page5.html) .. I voted the Ninja, because I used it in 5 systems until now and it performed on all of them (from A64 3000+ to C2D E6600)

That's quite extreme (if we are talking celsius) and a reason to worry; and I guess they aren't fahrenheit, since that would mean ~15C - 21C; first of all try the latest version of speedfan (the lastes stable is 4.31; the latest beta is 4.32 beta 17); it is possible that SpeedF...

If you are referring to WinXP than disabling the swap is a very bad idea; XP does not begin using the swap when it runs out of memory (read some guides such as "tweaking companion"), so disabling it will only give you tons of trouble If you are referring to a UNIX based system (don't know what you r...

The PCB looks to be the same as the one for 7900GT / 7950GT so any HS that fits those should fit your quadro as well; you can go with Zalman CF900Cu or with Thermalright HR-03 (the HR-03 should be able to make it passive, but you can always mount a Nexus 92mm and undervolt it at 7 or 5v)
