My current card doesnt even burn that much under load (a seriously overclock 7600gs sonic). 40 more watts un...

Lets see. "competitive multiplayer". competitive is the magic word here. When it all comes done to "playing on own server could give you a great advantage just because your ping is 0ms while other guys are playing with 30ms." we are talking competitive. That 30ms could give you the edge. 30fps means...

If you want to learn about islam I would recommend a approved movie, the message. ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0074896/ ) All the facts depicted in the movie are approved by islamic scholars and historians. Translations of quaran are actually possible. But there are some problems with the translati...

Instead of getting a power supply why not get rid of your 2900 and get a 8800gt, which offers greater performance with less power. And TEC cooling? Simply put: WHY? I am also a-bit eager learning about your cpu which you say is using around 200 watts. Why not get a new q9300 when they are avaliable, ...

@wwenze, Maybe we are both saying the same thing, but I always look at the matter as heat flowing through interface and the resistance initiates the temperature difference. Heat transfer from any matter to air is directly proportional to the square of the temperature difference between to interfaces...

Jipa, the article at madshrimps, is one of the articles I was mentioning that popped questions. I've no idea how they managed to achieve such huge improvements. It does not make any sense. Even the application method caused too much difference. wwenze, regarding your comment: Think of a thermal inte...

What's up with thermal pastes?
I've been surfing on the net (who doesnt) and seeing some weird and scientifically impossible claims about thermal pastes. Claims like: 5 degree load differences, new load temperature being lesser then de old idle temperature etc. I've used 3-4 brands of thermal materials and the biggest temperature...

No it's not the plus model. I've googled for differences between the plus and normal version. Both says above %80 efficiency and 21dba minimum noise. But the normal version I have, acts just as described in the spcr review of the plus model. (the minimum noise sounds just like the recorded mp3, the ...

ok, I've just bought Silverstone ST50EF. I must say it's no where silent, not even quite. Download the mp3 sounds from the spcr review for this particular product and that sound will be exactly what you get when you turn the device on. Also spcr mentioned of a loud buzz when no load is connected to ...
