Yeah, I'm thinking either Temp or PSU myself, but I just didn't know anything about PSU troubleshooting (other than trying a different one)... i was hoping that maybe there's some software that keeps an eye on the PSU stats and maybe can throw out alerts or logs if there's an issue... Hey qviri, I s...

Yeah... about that... I sorta turned off System Restore and found my PC was a lot more stable this past year... Heh. Yeah, I knew the risk I was taking, but for the most part any issues that arose I was easily able to repair on my own without needing to revert to restore points. I always found in th...

Looking for help with a *possible* PS Issue

Here's the deal... about a year and a half ago I set up my new PC, and it has been running like a dream. I would literally (no joke) run it for a month solid with no reboots... I have the exact same setup as you, 3500 with A8V Deluxe. I'm thinking of getting a Freezer 64 instead of the Zalman. Seems to perform just as well, in both cooling and quietness than the Zalman, but is cheaper and easier to install. Might want to check it out. (The Freezer 4 is nearly identical to ...

ATI Silencer 4 Rev.2 or Rev.1 - To wait or not to wait?

Here's my situation, I've been wanting to upgrade my X800's HSF to an ATI silencer for months, but I decided I could wait until the Rev.2 is released in north america, that way I can get the improved one, which will hopefully be quieter and cool just as well. The problem is, I can't really play anym...

Hrm... I got a question about the PSU/Venting mods people are doing to Sonatas. I'm currently trying to decide how to go about quieting mine right now. I see some people are covering up the Antec holes, I'm assuming so sound doesn't escape. What I was considering was actually leaving the antec holes...

What temp is the CPU running at? What kind of Asus motherboard? My A8V has as thing in the bios called "Q-Fan" that'll slow down the fan if the CPU is running cool. Generally my silentboost spins at around 1800rpm.
