I'm really not surprised this made it to market. Most people now buy 500W to 600W, and only need half of that (at best). Why not convince them that they really need 1000W to power that P4? You really do have to admire the marketing behind some of the current "must have" products.

I think most will get my point. With said, I admire the good ones. They are...

I have all my cases except the very first one. It was long before I ever imagined building my own. It was a Midwest Micro 486DX-66. Man, it was a performance machine back in the day. :) That was back in 1991-2 (somewhere in there, I think). Since then, my main rig has stayed in a Supermicro SC750A t...

This might help you a little more. I'm not sure I buy all of what the article states, but it's at least food for thought on the mobo and ram. http://www.tweakguides.com/Hardcon_1.html Also note the link to Anandtech on page 5 that will further explain the command rate impact on current AMD systems. ...

I'm sorry to hear about your luck. The screws that come with today's cases can (and often do) create a question on how and where to use all of them. I have seen on-line quizzes in the past in which many could not identify where to use what screw. I know that probably doesn't help you deal with your ...
