Can you control the fan speed of a 8800 gts/gtx? Rivatuner, Expert tool or so. I have understood that with rivatuner you can. Anyway when I was testing sound levels of the fan with my duck, I used rivatuner in manual mode and it worked fine. I did leave controlling the fan for 8800 gts job as using...

I manage RM files by not using them. :) I've always hated Real Player, ever since I realized that every time I used it, it was reactivating its spy-ware component. No matter how many times I turned it off, it would always come back. I haven't used it in years, and I don't know if they still do that...

Sorry no pics, but spotted quite similar solution . My duct is a bit larger, covers all empty slots and has no external fan. Not bad. I do have one empty slot below the card, so something like that might work. Is there a recommended tape for this sort of thing? I might also try a slot cooler to act...

I was quite buzzed about temperatures with the card. It seems that heatsink airflow has really bad design. Even the cooler is two slot model and is supposed to exhaust warm air, most if the air is actually blown inside the case from four oddly placed openings in cover of the heatsink. A little duck...

There is almost 3 cm free space behind the 8800GTS, so 8800GTX might fit in P150 (I will not say it fits, but seems close, up to you if you try), if there is no HD behind it. EDIT: if you want, I can measure exactly how much there is space between the 8800GTS and HDD cage. If this still interests, ...

I have to change my vote from "Ok" to "No, it snapped!". Good news is that HDD did survive the shock and Antec is sending replacement parts. I had a plan to change those rubber bands, but some how I did forgot. So if you still are using those old rubber bands do change them to something that wont br...

No. The P150 / Solo is 2-3 cm shorter than needed for the 8800 GTX. Are you sure? That's not good... I recently ordered a Solo and 8800 GTX. It does fit in a P180, right? I have 8800GTS and P150. It's fairly quiet when idle, but but loud when 3D. I'd say when it idles or in 2D it's similar to tri-c...

As for the small surface of the resistor it should be countered by the quite large cooler it's attached to. Now I can keep my fans at the lowest speed even at startup. :D But I have to say, “fairly warm” was no exaggeration. ;) In non moving air my resistor runs at about 65°C. Re: Solution in brief
The Antec Neo HE PSU has to have a minimum current draw on each 12V rail or it just turns off and will seem like a defective PSU. So if you're computer is not turning on , just add more stuff in your case to consume power and it is best to put some power consuming device attached to the first and l...

I looked at the existing space in my SLK3000B, around the back 120 mm fan. Top, bottom and right there should be just enough space for a 140 mm fan, but not to the left.
