Maybe the ones you got were too hard to be effective. Me Grandaddy ust to say,"It's gotta be hard to be good".. ....sorry.....I'm weak..... Seems like a more appropriate comment for Grandma . . . not that there's anything wrong with it . . . Now that u mention it...Grannie is the one who said it!.....

I LOVE the idea of the sliders for the bottom of the case so it can be easily moved on carpet. I'm going to have to buy some for my current one. Thanks for the link on your mods, I'll look through it in more detail when I get my new case, which I'm sure will be a LL, as you had some interesting ide...

Hey epiphane! Its obvious you put a lot of work into your mods and into the text and photos. What camera did you use for those nice pix and what type of lighting? Well exif info says Sony DSC-W1. Judging by the photos I'd say he used built in flash? Glad u liked the article. JJR got it right. Shoul...

......SNIP...... I am a bit worried about cable reach from the PSU to the mainboard in the P180... As mentioned, if u go w/ the Lian-Li PC-V1100 that isn't a concern. Also, if u plan on staying w/ that case for many years, the cost looks more reasonable. I have a Lian-Li PC-V1100 & am very happy w/...

My Seagate 15K rpm (v2) isn't that noisy. I suspended it w/ Stretch magic & can't hear it at all (see the Gallery forum for pics). I think v 3 & 4 r even quieter.

Even before suspension, it was a lot quieter than my older 7.2K SCSI disks.

Sometimes there's a adjustment on the flash or camera that might direct more light deeper into the system...even just a desk/table pointing into the puter would help.

No biggie...if u'r happy w/ 'em leave it be.

...SNIP..And most importantly ;-) ...should I get the silver/aluminum or the black V1000+ case...SNIP... Thanks, Daniel That's a pretty case in either color. Take a look around where the unit will be placed...put something black or silver there if that helps...OK, which blends in better? Cheers peter
