Hi,

I have a gigabyte EP45 DS4, with four pin fan controller for
the cpu. To run a PWM fan. However I use a 3-pin scythe
cpu fan which can be PWM controlled by changing a setting in
the F9 bios.

I got finally an RMA for komplett.be for the mobo. And the shop I bought the CPU,will send it back to Ingram (importer in Belgium) as these are less difficult than sending it to Intel straight. I ordered also a new mobo (as the RMA of gigabyte seems to take multiple weeks). Still waiting for the pro...

I checked the clearance between the condensators and other components under the brackets before it did anything else, there was around 1.5mm room. At the shop we checked the mobo fully with a magnifier, the things that are visible seems all to be ok. So for sure I will send the mobo back to the e-sh...

Well I bought the HR-01 Plus. First remarks, the components for 775 and am2 where mixed in the plastic bags. To find out with belong to 775 wasn't so hard to find out. But anyway this shouldn't be. Next where to place the O-rings? SPCR shows it different than what's on the included very small and an...

How are your gpu temps with the modded vf900?

That's the only thing I dislike at the VF, at full it's way too loud.
But temps are great.

Well, I finally did the fan swap on the XFX 7600GT XXX (standard max overclocked), in fact very easy to do, I used arctic silver 5. At 100% the zalman VF900 is louder than the XFX stock cooler. At minimum setting of the fanmate (I guess 5V), it is inaudible in my case. But temps are fantastic, at lo...

This morning I saw an open RC-830 in the computer shop. Woaw, this is a real big case, even with a ATX mobo inside you have much space between the mobo and HDs. Ideal to use with full length videocards in SLI, and you can do fantastic cable management. They say superior airflow, but it indeed is. If...

via internet.
This site/shop sells videocards with silent zalman fans on it (preinstalled),
with guarantee.

My XFX 7600GT XXX is silent at 25%, quiet at 40%, too loud at 100%.
But the 100% is only done with 3D gaming.
Putting a VF900 on it, will make it absolute quiet at all settings (I hope).

Remove the metal part..
And try to find the loudest part in your case.
For me it's the 3 HD's I have.
All the rest is nearly silent.
