What is max safe temp for P5B Deluxe (in Antec P150)

Idle @ 45-46c now. Load around 46-48c. Used to be 10c lower but I have moved from lower room temp to higher room temp. Any recommendation to cool this thing down? CPU temp is higher too but not as much as mobo temp. Now mobo temp is close to CPU temp now. Using Ninja Rev B and have two front in take...

RMClock and C2D (OCed and cool and quiet)?

Anyone use RMClock to manage speed/power of OCed Core2 Duo? Speed step wouldn't do much good coz it automatically set Vcore and that introduce instability when OC. RMClock seems to allow setting both Vcore and multiplier to use. Maybe it's a good solution to have it throttle CPU speed to minimize th...

Been trying with Dell for a long time. I'm not the original purchaser so it less luck. Silencing PSU of LCD monitor?

Hi,
My LCD generate humming noise when on. It does create annoying high pitch noise when it's hot (says after 2 hrs continuous run). This is known problem for my model but Dell refuse to fix it. (darn) It's 2405FPW.
Not 100% sure that the noise is from PSU but couldn't think of anything else.

From the case airflow path, would you be better off with side-blowing HSF like Ninja or something shorter? Look like the area of the fin that air will flow through is less. Maybe Ultra 120/90?

9v fix mod?

Hi,
What's the easy and reliable way to get 9v? Says like getting 7v, the most safe way is using zener diode.

Need to undervolt the YateLoon a little. It's tad loud @ 12v but no different @ 7-9v (so, I'd like to get more air by going 9v instead of 7v).

It's the Rev B one.
Anyone know the size of those set screws? They are the screws to attach the clip (775) to the heatsink. I guess I will drive to Home Depot soon.
For some reason, they put 2 bags of silicone instead!
Man. What a bumper!

OK... hmmm.... Maybe if you don't mind mATX, why don't buy Antec NSK2400 and Antec Fusion stacked together :D Looks here, might be more help there also; http://htpcnews.com/ I'd look into the Ahanix cases. There are several HTPC case manufacturers in the market like Silverstone, Ahanix, Zalman, Lian Li, Cooler Master, Antec. I like the Antec Fusion which seems to be designed based on noise. Other cases like Ahanix and Silverstone are mainly made of aluminum which has worse noise characteristic than th...

Hi, I've opened the PSU comes with my Antec Minuet 300. The PSU is rated 300W and has proprietary form factor so replacing the whole PSU is not an option. The fan inside the PSU is RDH8015B 80mm x 15mm thin fan. Rated 0.17A @ 12v. It has only 2 pin so I guess it run at full speed. I found the data o...

It still got rubber band. On contrary, the Solo case from the same store does have the new bungee type.
