I have the CPX Pro and the Db-1(CPX-1) which is like the little brother of the CPX Pro. The CPX Pro made too much noise via the vibrations for me to use. I've had a CPX-1 die on me after about a year though. The CPX-1/Db-1 is very quiet if placed on some anti-vibration stuff (ie petra's gel stuff). ...

Edit: Well it looks like it was a side panel. So far so good. I just had to remove and replace it and the sound seems to be gone.

Vibration Problem

I recently bought a WD10EACS and a WD6400AAKS, and am happy with the performance, but have begun to notice some noise originating from those two drives. I've read the reviews and both are supposed to have little vibration. I have a P180 case and am using them in the lower cage. The sound I'm hearing...

I too am very interested in these drives. Have not found any user or site based reviews, although I realize they just arrived. I am looking to consolidate my hds and was scared away from the 1 TB F1.

well i ordered and recieved it. I am pretty happy about it. It has a huge amount of space, is very quiet (can't tell the difference from samsungs from about 1m away). The only thing that worries me is the temp. It runs at about 46 deg celsius, while my 200gb samsung runs around 37. The specifics say...

WD 500GB drives

Hey guys, i been thinking about upgrading my storage. Does anyone own one of these 500 gb drives? They are cheap and from the review sound great. Anyone know what temps these run at etc? The review said low power, so i expect low heat as well.

Thanks

Radiator noise

Ok, so i finally got the noise level i wanted with my computer. The problem now is that the radiator (BiX) seems to be making a "sloshing" noise every few seconds. Now obviously it's the water in it, but it's sounds like almost water dripping into more water. I've checked for leaks (none) and the wa...

my mag too is noisy. When i opened it up and moved the impeller around, i found it was a bit loose, which seems to explain the noise. I'm trying the 1048 next.

muffling pump

Ok, so i figured this could go in either this section or water cooling... I recently completed (sorta) my water cooling project. Everything went fine, but i would like to muffle my CSP-MAG. I have a post in the WC section mentioning it, but i would like to get some more input. Does anyone have any c...

Couple Questions

Hi guys, Was wondering how those who enclosed/muffled their pumps did it? I have a CSP-Mag and although it is very quiet, it is louder than i want. Also when you need to replace a part, or you're upgrading, what is the best way to remove tubes, etc from an already setup wc system. Just be careful?? ...

Innovatek Eheim HPPS Plus

Hey guys. I am extremely new to watercooling, but am after (as most of you here are) an almost inaudible system. I've read through pump reviews here on the quietest one. The 1048 and the MAG seem to be the most commonly known. My problem is i like the HPPS Plus, but it uses 8mm ID and i can't/dont k...
