On newegg the res 1+ is 229.49... The Reserator 1 is 199.99. A simple google search will give you a product list of most reputable online stores. And unless you are into spending a little more to keep local companies in business... its hard to beat newegg. Doh went thru the thread without reading it...

Thanks for the reply, although Im not sure if I even need the upgrade now anyway. Turns out the airflow out of the psu just feels warmer due to lower rate of flow, and when I swapped out my cpu fan 90% of the noise was eliminated from my system and without the 3 case fans (30db each) it was quiet en...

Yes I did read that - all 7 pages even the rec PSU page. But at the same time in the FAQ it says a video card with a max power draw of 78 watts (6800gt) will be rounded up to 80 giving 160W's to the video. Paraphrased but somewhere close to that. Question on system wattage
I'm a little confused when it comes to calculating maximum power draw for a video card. In the FAQ it doubles the number before adding the CPU power... but it doesnt seem like any other place does that. Im trying to get a cooler, quieter, powersupply other than my Antec CoolBlue 350W - so no I'm not...
