Check with the manufacturer of your card. Replacing a stock HSF could void the warranty. Those little ramsinks are a b*tch to get off too.

The VF700Cu is VERY compatible. In fact, it even works on the 7800GTXs. I had one on my X850XT PE. It kept it very chilly.

Congrats on your build, it is put together extremely well and looks to be a "king of the hill" as far as Intel goes. Everything in that case is definitely cream of the crop as far as hardware goes, though I would agree with a few others here and say you would be better off with a Ninja rather than ...

Nice Job Mellman!! I don't ALWAYS need to have the "cream of the crop"in terms of hardware! The chips just fell into place this time.

Woah, someone has a lot of money to spend on a PC...! Looks like you went out and bought the best of the best, money not being an issue. I have one recomendation though (not SPCR related really). Looks like you have dual dvdrws. I noticed you have them on the same IDE cable. If you are doing dual b...

Wow, an impressive amount of grunt in that system. 1.4 Terrabytes of storage  (Got to ask... what do you store??) I take a lot of home movies of my kids as they grow up and I just don't move them to DVD quick enough. What are your temps like in the P180? We don't get to see Extreme Edition r...

My wiring Job w/ Antec P180

Install took about 4.5 hours from an Antec Sonata to this thing. Sheesh---wasn't easy but well worth it. I have since removed the drive trays from the center HDD rack to allow better airflow. The wiring job was going great up until I added my SATA drives. Then the "wheels came off" so to speak and n...

Had the same problem--

Grab a hold of whatever drive(s) are in that cage and while you are pulling out the cage, pull your drive towards the PSU/back of the case.

Re: PC Power and Cooling 510 SLI

PC Power and Cooling offer a "TurboCool" 510W power supply that supports SLI (it has two 6 pin VGA power cables) - it gets various names, but you can identify it as the "510W SLI power supply that costs a lot". It fits nicely into the P180 (it's exactly the size of the PSU cage). It is well-suited,...

My power supply is sleeved similar to yours....I have a PC Power & Cooling PSU. Is it safe to have the 4 pin ATX power supply running underneath the motherboard? I am worried about EMI and possibly shorting out the motherboard.

Your advice is appreciated.

Thank you.
