Well, I have used Arctic Cooling's ATI Silencer 4 Rev. 2 in the past. The fan made a horrible bearing-grinding sound at all levels other than 0% (fan turned off obviously) or 100%. At 100%, it was remarkably still quieter than the defaul Radeon X800 XT fan, but a tad too loud for idling in Windows X...

Maybe you should read HardOCP.com's review of the AN8 Ultra before you buy it. I was considering buying it as well, but HardOCP.com seemed to experience a lot of instabilites due to the nForce4 Ultra chipset running too hot. I have not noticed any reviewers having problems with ASUS's A8N-SLI Premiu...
