I agree, I'm very interested in reviews using the X25-E in servers (specifically database servers), but I guess any review would be welcome right now...

Heh.. yeah, I guess I'll buy the NSK2400 instead of waiting for a couple of months for the NSK2450 to become available in Sweden.

But I agree that my P150 is everything I could wish for, even though it took a fair while to get here ;) (3 NeoHE replacements).

Antec also seem to have a list of (Japanese) reviews on their site:

Bad Antec! I was just going to order a NSK2400 since I've decided that getting a Fusion just for stealthed drive bay would be massive overkill. Sigh...

Now, I don't know anything about this particular program, but it seems weird that a dedicated graphics card would offload any processing from the CPU, unless they are using for some kind of stream processing (are they?). In that case I guess it could be worth the extra heat/noise since that is one p...

The NC8430 that a colleague has does get a bit warm after a bit of use, and spins up it's fan for a while (which is actually pretty loud). This, however, was in Windows Vista so perhaps it's aero that is stressing the video card (x1600).

I asked Scythe to make that small version of the Ninja for a 92mm fan specifically for use in the NSK2400 (and similar "height" HTPC cases) during the tail end of the development of that case. They were pretty lukewarm about it, which I don't really understand. In they end they said the cost was to...

Re: Antec Fusion but what CPU heatsink?

My other unrelated issue with the Antec Fusion is the lack of IR receiver. The reviews indicate there is sufficient space to retro fit a receiver next to the VFD, has anyone done this? What IR receiver did you use? I just don't like the idea of an external IR receiver. Check out the next revision o...

I'll be in the same position in 1-2 months, and it really feels wrong to pay about ~$150 more for the fusion just for one stealth-dvd... but I'll probably regret it if I get the NSK2400 and end up staring at a black DVD-RW.

Well, I wouldn't call the NeoHE bundled with the P150 useless (unless you get one of the DOAs ;) ), it's very quiet and detachable cables are a big plus. Now Seasonic (NeoHEs _are_ seasonic made) might be a bit better, but I'm not sure if it will be noticeable. Question 1: Yes, the front vents lets ...

I can't answer your other questions, but I'm pretty sure that DDR2 actually consumes less power than DDR, thats one of the advantages (besides frequency scaling).
