Well, i have two of the 120mm and one 80mm. The 120mm are great, no bearing noise (not even after two months of non-stop spinning at 5V :)), which I cannot say for the 80mm ( I hear clicking at 12V and 7V). BTW For those of you needing a 92mm Glacial, i think there IS one (oddly enough, this one has...

I have the HIS 9800pro iceq (VGA silencer rev.3), got it for around 150$. It's very quiet at the "low" setting, overclocks very well and is fairly fast. I'm not saying the X800Xl is a bad curd, but it doesn't quite fit in the 150$ range, now does it? The X800GTO is out of the question since it only ...

My suggestion: if you really want good cooling without (or very little) addition to noise, cut the side panel and put a quiet 120mm on it.

I really dont know why do they make those honeycomb (or whatever) grills on cases. Why don't they just make some nice round holes, even with no grills at all? As for the blowhole... Well I don't really need it either :D . But i think it definitely adds to the "cool" factor :). Plus the usb ports war...

I believe 65° is the maximum operating temperature for 64s.
I didn't know that.

If you really watn it, you could probably stop the cpu fan with your finger and wait till the temp goes to 65-70

Definitely GlacialTech SilentBlade... Got two of them a while ago for 3$ each (as cheap as it gets) and they are very nice. Similar characteristics to the Nexus.

Well I have a TT tsunami case (it's pretty much the same case, just different exterior) and I have a GlacialTech 120 fan @5v (it spins very slowly, you can almost see the blades moving) and my cpu temp is better for about 6-7 C compared to the no fan sidepanel

I also have to say that cutting the grills made a huge difference, in noise and airflow alike.

I absolutely agree on the grommets not making a difference. Also I never wanted to put damping into the case (i got the plexi version). The only things i can hear now are the HDD (as i said it's old, about 4 yrs or so) and the Chieftec, which isn't exactly known to be silent. I'm planning on switchi...

My themaltake Tsunami

Here's my TT Tsunami. For those of you that do not know, the Tsunami is identical to the SLK3000B, just the exterior is diferent.
