i dunno but my lanparty ultra d has a config in the bios that lets you set the threshold of the rpm speed up area. like if i set the "fan off" option to <25c and "fan full" at 55c, the mobo scales the speed percent by percent..

i have 3 black yate loons from jab-tech, they are the exact same D12SL-12. they have a 3 pin connector with rpm monitoring, along with an extension wired in that goes to 2 molex 4 pin connectors, one is male one is female

the antec on low is quiet, but it barely moves ANY AIR.. a piece of notebook paper in front of it barely moves. Real weak stuff.

you definitely dont want to OC with cool and quiet if you use any multipliers less than the default one

the stock cooling on the 7800GTX is utter crap, have you ever looked at the TIM on the inside? Its like white crap with threads in it.. really cheap. Only the gpu has proper paste.

yeah i have that bulging of about 3 mm at the middle of the front door. I was so pissed when i realized that this thing was defective.. but it will cost way too much to rma and do all that shipping stuff.. while its sorta a gamble anyways since you're probably going to get another defective one.

Word on the street has it that this Evercool VC-RE cooler fits perfectly in my lanparty ultra-d and it runs cooler and quieter than the stock chipset cooler.
