Plus lightning comes from the sky, not ground.
.
It's true lighting can do both, come from the ground to the cloud and from the cloud to the sky. Also it can go from cloud to cloud.

AV component review site

Does anyone know of a good AV review site other than AV forums? I'm finding it hard to find a centralized site to compare diffrent pieces of gear and get their specs.

Thanks

Thanks everyone for giving your advice, It seems the best thing to try would be to go without it for a while and then try and find one to test.

But it seems i can use it fine without at least.

Thanks

could be done a lot better and cleaner for a minimum of effort. cut an end and a side panel, sand and stain, mount to desk and put side panel on hinges. = clean setup. Hmmm, that doesn't sound like a minimum of effort to me, that sounds like allot of effort. I think i'm good with how it is now than...

I take it the CPU heatsink works passive? A wider shot would be very much appreciated. :) Well the fan thats in the front is almost pushed up against the edge of the heatsink so its not really passive but yeh it works, it keeps the CPU at 50 while running Folding@home. Do you mean a wider shot with...

Hello Dave, You should definitely be running the SMP client, and not four instances of the regular client. That should yield much higher PPD. And on a quad core, there are steps you can take to run two instances of the SMP client that yield much more PPD than a single instance of the SMP client...w...

Im actually running 4 instances of the client and I don’t have any antivirus software installed. I just remembered some more detail when I first started a 250 point project would take about 8 hours so 1 core could do almost 1000 PPD or at least that’s what FahMon was telling me, but now it takes...

Need some folding Advice

Hi there, i've seen a large drop in my folding preformance when i started out with my new comptuer (Q9450) I was seeing about 1500 PPD from it, but lately its only doing about 600-700 PPD and i dont know why it has changed.

Does anyone have any ideas that come to mind off the top of your head?
