Noctua NH-D14 or TRUE 120 Black for a 3930k?

Hey guys, Its been years since my last post. I'm building a new PC and I'm wondering what cooler to go with. This is going to be a 6 core 3930k intel, sitting in an Asus P9X79 and 8x4gb sticks of crucial ballistix low profile. No tall heatsinks for memory. All inside an old Antec P182. I've just ord...

The solution to the Geforce Squealing!! Finally!

These guys finally solved the problem of the Geforce Video Cards Squealing!! I'm glad to know that this wasn't a PSU problem at all. It's on the video cards using old analog circuitry. This applies to all Geforce models, and hopefully eliminate that nasty noise while you're playing top notch games. ...

Luminair, I kind of agree with part of you said. I take your rant in a good way :-). What I'm trying to understand from your rant is in which way you say I screwed up? You mean that the reason why I could have a problem with the heat when testing the HR-03 was because I did something the wrong way? ...

Thanks Vicotnik... The thing is is that in my case I've tried all the things that you've suggested. a) Leaving the top vent with no fan. My CPU is making about 38-39C Coretemps on Idle. b) Added a top 120mm fan for the top vent. Temperatures lowered only in the CPU. For about -2C. c) Covered that to...

I'm not arguing, but sincerely somehow I was expecting something better. This is definetely a rushed thing.... Let's pray for a 55nm version.

Hi, I'm not saying the Slipstreams are bad, nor getting into conclusions here. By the contrary, I love Slipstreams, they are by far the best fans I've ever tried. My only concern was about using them as an intake and specially on P182 cases. The dust filter is exactly the same as any other P182, and...

Sythe Slipstream Fans : Are they good as intakes?

Hi: I have a P182 rig, which has 2 Scythe Slipstream 1200RPM, one as an exhaust and the other one for the CPU. Until today,I used to have another Slipstream 800RM version as an intake fan. And now it has been replaced by a Scythe S-Flex 21D 800RPM. The reason... Last nigh I've noticed a persistent wh...
