in the boot menu (bios) you have to set as the drive name...ie) LG GSA-H22N.... not "CD-Rom"

this cooler is pretty good...way better than the stock coolling fro eVGA 7600GT

without the fan spinning...40C at idle..compare to stock cooling (with fan spinning at half speed) 58C idle

new hard drives can do at least 60Mb per second

Iram is good for seek time,roughly around 0.02ms....hard driveare 4+ms if you get raptor.

USB flash drives has limited write cycles...like 10,000 times...thats it

As far as i can see...there is no real benifit for you to do this

They don't use PCI bus to transfer DATA.

it needs the PCI bus because it needs power.

it transfers daya thru SATA cable

YOu are right. It was the motherboard making noice (PSU on top of the motherboarD)

it has the buzzing sound when it is at 1Ghz mark.

i'm using Viewsonic 2025wm LCD, and can't hear any buzz for it

My CPU fan doesn't run until 40C, system is around 35C, took out the video card, using the onboard (no fan)

Stopped the fan on the PSU...still can hear a buzzing sound

Seasonic S12 380W making buzzing sounds?

I just bought a S12 380W (new ver), has Sata, PCIE and its sleeved Adda Fan It starts to buzz when it is in windows. The buzz is not constant, it goes on and off all the time. A very high pitch buzz sound, almost the same when the hard drive seeks. Is this normal? and is there a fix for this? THank ...

i just bought a S12 380...it came sleeved and it has a PCI-E connector
4 sata


but it makes a buzzing noise...and i don't think i'm seeing a thermal detector and the fan is only 2 pin

ahh...you are right..P180 is not cheap at all

how about P150 though? that includes an Antec NeoHS430

Thankx for your advise I didn't know Seagate makes a loud seek noice. But how about warranty? the Seagate are 5 years but i belive Samsungs/Hitachi are only 1 year? how about the Hitachi single plater that is recently reviewed? If i'm not going for a SLI, i don't think i should go for that motherboa...
