HDDs are about 10w !
Without 8800GTS, you just need about 100-150W

It's not said, but I suppose they measured power consumption on the wall, so the PSU had to deliver around 200W on burn...
620W is just overkill !

In my opinion human rights are also a privilege, that can be revoked, if you don't respect the rights of other people. So why do you call them rights ? Admit you just don't want human rights, your opinion will get much clearer ! But even without studies, it's perfectly logical. No it's not ! Say yo...

then you are misusing the word. English is not my first language. I may miss some nuances. I hope we understand each other though. Jailtime isn't supposed to be fun. I don't know any prison which could be qualified as fun, even without "prison bitches" time. And, by the way, I suppose that if you t...

Once again, I don't get your ideas. I understand that you want severe, inhuman punishment, but I don't understand why. - moral point of view (you feel more comfortable in a world were evil acting people get tortured) ? - Security (you think it 'd have a deterrent effect) ? - Educational (people tort...

12x multiplier was indeed a problem as chipset couldn't reach "high fsb", and "High speed" DDR modules were unaffordable. Today there are tons of fsb800 capable mobos and cheap PC3200. The low multiplier is now a good thing for us, as it's better to get performance by high memory speed than high cpu...

I dont' know any. But I doubt it woulb be that useful. P4M undervolt very well. Just lower the VCore in Bios and have fun. My SL6FH (1.8GHz) currently runs 2.1Ghz@1.1v With SETI@home burn, it's 20°C above ambient, passively cooled. Most of mobos will accept the P4M, at rather different vCore though...

As far as the crime/punishment thing goes.....we reserve the worst punishments for the worst types of crimes, hoping that will deter persons inclined to bad behavior from doing the worst sorts of crime. For the most part, it works fairly well. But there are always exceptions..... To remove the high...

Okay, this might not have too much progmatic benefit, but it's nothing to complain about either, this is premarily Iraq's bussiness, they undoubtedly wanted him dead very much , and their feelings are easily understandable. What are your sources ? From here I just don't have any reliable media spea...

I don't think it's the actual execution that's pricey. Good point. How about just... not feeding them? No ! Let them be killed right afetr the sentence. No pricey jail. No pricey second judgement (pricey and pretty useless, if they have been sentenced to death once, they deserve at least a little b...

It's funny each time an anti-death penalty say he's horrified by the pain a condemned suffers, a pro-death explains a better way of killing. The fact is that no single method has been reliable and painless in history. Either it's not that easy, either it hasn't been the goal oh those who created the...

Re: Can I use any CF card with a bootable IDE adapter?
But, there are some incompatibilities. Under certain circumstances (if both IDE were used in my case), CF fail to boot (at differrent stages depending on the CF). If you can make a test with a spare CF, note the brand of the chips (Toshiba or Samsung), and get a similar chip-branded CF. Thanks Loz,...

Re: Can I use any CF card with a bootable IDE adapter?
I’m not clear on whether I need a specific type of CF card to use with a Compact Flash to IDE adapter; which I will use as a bootable drive. Are there CF cards specifically specified for such purposes? At my knowledge any will fit the purpose. But, there are some incompatibilities. Under certain ...
