Ok, I was just guessing and don’t have any real experience with fans larger than 140mm, so maybe I have to change my mind about bigger fans a bit. But my doubts were also about possibly less cooling effectiveness when airflow is concentrated on larger area (as stated in recommended heatsinks artic...

I think this picture will tell you what is this case about. http://www.svethardware.cz/photo_doc-79C6A74CFED7CBE5C12571AE00617CCF.html I dont see any sense in using so large fans in today PC cases, unless we will have 25cm tall CPU cooler. I think that bigger fan have bigger aerodynamic noise on sam...

I have 120mm 1000rpm version of this fan. It's produced by GlobeFan same as most Sharkoon fans. In my opinoin the blades design has not any noticeable effect on fan noise, it's quite good fan without any irritating noise, but there is'nt nothing special on it. Compared to other 120mm 1000rpm fans it...

Which shape of acoustic foam ?
There are three most common shapes of acoustic foam surface, I will call them pyramids, waves and foam with flat surface. I would like to ask if someone could recommend which one of these types and which thickness will be better to use in PC case, I’m interested in thickness from 2cm till 5cm. On ...

I'm using 1200rpm version as top exaust on P180 at 600-750rpm and its really perfect fan. Before I was trying all my best fans on that position and always they transfer some vibration to the top plastic panel. Even when they was suspended with rubber fan mounts about 1 cm bellow the top case panel. ...

If you want to buy silent fan from silencio 777 then stop thinking about Noiseblockers. Noiseblocker SX1 and SX2 have high motor clicking noise and ball bearings which are louder than sleeve. SX2 Pro Blacksience is same fan as Antec Tricool made by Dynatron, except that Noiseblocker SX2 Pro has loud...

The Akasa, Noiseblocker and also Coolink, are the same fans made by Y.S. Tech, as you probably know. I'm sure you didn't get bad sample, because mine, and some other 120mm Akasa amber fans that I saw had same high and annoying motor noise, exactly like the tractor. And ball bearing noise is also cle...

Few minutes before I read your post, I wrote to another thread about new arctic cooling fans my theory, that the AC fan 12025 should be rebranded Adda product, and that Scythe fans are looking also very simmilar to them. Your information put's more truth into my ideas. The result for me can be, that...

I was planning to buy Seasonic S12 PSU (until I read about Seasonic PSU problems with DFI motherboards), so I buy the ADDA fans which are used in 430W and 500W versions of their S12 PSU, the LB and MB models, as shown on the picture above. They were very cheap in one electrotechnic shop for about 5 ...

Yes, I agree. I received the packege with this fan, as i mentioned above, but it wasnt nothing special, there was loud motor noise and the airflow was lover than nexus fan. But the fan design was same as the new arctic cooling 12025 fan, except some small details and different kind of plastic. I wou...

This fan is not that quiet as i expexted, i can say that there is no audible bearing and motor noise, but there is quite big aerodinamic noise, too big for 1000rpm fan. I think they did some mistakes in construction of the fan. The fan thickness is only 2 cm, because they want to get with the fan ad...
