Could I get away without a fan? No! If youre going with a fanless PSU, you will need to install a fan of some sort in the bottom chamber. Fanless PSUs still need some airflow - they may be fanless, but instead they rely on airflow from other fans in the case. Even if you could run a fanless PSU com...

Did you manage to fix the side panel clips? I used some strong adhesive to fix them again and they seem to be ok (Thank God).
Meh - I didnt bother. They weren't next to each other, and I moved that panel over to the left side where it isnt removed nearly as often.

Do be careful on which thumbscrew you put in to hold the lower HD cage in... The case ships with a few 'low profile' thumbscrews. When I unknowingly swapped in a regular old thumbscrew it was too tall, and after I had put the side panel back on, it took me 20 minutes of pulling, two broken side pane...

Re: Filtering material for the P180's top blowhole.

I'm going to be using the fan in the top of my P180. The fan will help cool my setup a lot more than avoiding use of it, so it stays. My only problem with this is that I do not want the top blowhole grille to be exposed for dust to just fall into the case. Out of curiosity, are you going to have th...

uwbandman, I think you should remove the tapes from the back of the case, to allow more air to pass through. You now have a larger PSU case, half the lower chamber of the P180. I'm trying this tonight! :D Ive blocked the holes as I want the air passing through and out of the PSU, not out through th...

Re: Remove PSU Fans And Use In Antec P180 With Lower Chamber

Is anyone else running a similar PSU setup in a P180 or other case? Im running that exact setup in my rig. I also read that post my MikeC...so I decided to give it a try with my no-name PSU this morning. I ripped out both of the fans, removed the cover, and actually went as far as to remove the sid...

Re: help building quiet gaming pc

RaNDoMMAI is definetly right about the Raptor...best HD Ive ever owned, and its virtually silent in the P180 - those thick, laminate side panels make it hard to hear even the seek noise So dont discount the P180 too quickly... As long as you dont mind spending a little time to think about your cable...

how can you survive the 9800 whine?!! Make sure you relace that 9800Pro fan with something else, like the Zalman VF700 to silence that graphics card! I hear that! (pun intended?? Not sure... :D ) Anyways yes, its by far the loudest thing in my case right now... But it's much better now that Ive plu...

Re: Hardcano 13 problem

I have tried removing the rpm sensor pin from the fan connector but that does not work as it registers a speed of 0000rpm and triggers the alarm. This is quite annoying as the auto mode was the reason why I bought the Hardcano 13! Have you tried removing the sensor pin from the fan, and then connec...

So I was at the vet a few weeks ago, and I saw them using this bandaging material... It was a cloth tape, stretchy, and only sticks to itself...hmm... I had been considering picking up an Antec Sleeving Kit as I was about to transfer all my hardware into my new Antec P180, and when I saw this I thou...

Re: Cable Sleeving: Any way to retain flexibility

I just wanted to ask what you guys think is the best way to go about cable management while retaining flexibility and workability. Having put together some systems with presleeved PSU's, I find the pre-installed, braided sleeving way to tough to work with. Makes the cables very stiff and hard to ma...
