Of my setup? I don't have any right now. I can try and take some when I get a chance, but no promises. Like I said though, it's pretty messy, so I don't know how eager I am to show them off, lol.

I havea 3480 also, and have found that you can fit 3.5" drives horizontally between the front of the case and the front of the mobo if you hang them "side to side" instead of "front to back" like normal (with my mobo, at least - hope that description makes sense). It's a tight fit, and actually rigg...

Although I'm an Obama supporter and I'm glad he won, I'm afraid he has an extremely difficult road ahead of him, in no small part due to the excitement and expectations that were built up about him by many of his supporters. In order to win over non-supporters, he would obviously need to perform mir...

I have a 9600GT and my PSU is the EarthWatts 380W that came in my Antek NSK3480. I've had no problems whatsoever. As techcrazybob said, if you have a good quality PSU you should be fine.

Re: Yet another exposed heatpipe design: Sunbeam Core-Contac

What I don't know is why they don't just remove almost all the aluminum from between the heat pipes, and just have a very small sliver of aluminum between them (i..e less than .5mm), or none at all, and then you would be able to get 4 heat pipes to get contact with a IHS. Because then you run the r...

Removing fins from Accelero S1 (and other mods)

Hey, just wondering if anyone has removed any of the fins from an Accelro S1? Are they difificult to get off, and once off would it be possible/feasible to get them back on? Would having them off cause any problems (ie "hot spots" at the ends of the pipes where there are no fins)? What about bending...

Yep, that PS is different from mine as well. I haven't opened mine up or inspected the labels, but the one pictured has "slot" intakes on the front, whereas mine has a grid of square holes. Also, in earlier pictures of the case the 1394, USB, and ausio cables from the front the front bezel are grey,...

Excellent, that's pretty much what I was thinking but as they say, pictures are worth a thousand words. Great idea! I'll have to do some measuring as far as an Accelero goes. Mine is just a standard 9600GT with a HS/fan, but the fan is LOUD when it ramps up, so I'm considering an Accelero. It's hard...

nooo, I've ordered an ECS 9600GT with Acceleros2 passive cooler! Don't tell me it's the same card... I thought it would fit the case/hard disk... It seems to me that any 2-slot vid card would block that bottom floppy bay. I don't have an Accelero (yet), but my 9600GT has a heatsink/fan and is a 2-s...

When you get the HD ''tray'' and bend two of the mounting 'lips' 90 degrees, you can put the HD on its side, between the side panel and PCI cards, just fitting below the Scythe Ninja, and allowing more airflow over the gfx card. Hmm, good tip, I'll have to investigate this. Any chance you could pos...

Antec NSK3480 HDD Suspension - tips/advice

Hey all, I recently put together a new system in an NSK3480 but with my vid card, there's no room to mount a hard drive in the normal spot in the bottom of the case (I already have one in the upper chamber along with my DVD-RW). However, I don't have anything to go in the floppy drive enclosure in t...

Re: mATX motherboard and case for new build- help needed

The P35 is a great chipset...one of the best I've seen. However, for Microatx, what you're looking for is a G33. This is basically a P35 with integrated graphics built in. It won't overclock as well, but it suffices in all other ways. I'd recommend picking up one of the higher end G33's if possible...

So far, I'm looking at: Intel e8400 nVidia GeForce 9600GT 2GB Corsair Ballistix PCR-6400 RAM I may look at a n...

Seems to make some sense physioligically speaking, as our nerves operate on tiny electrical impulses. If there is free "dirty" electroagnetic fields floating around that could be interfering with (or inducing) errant impulses in our nerves, it could affect all kinds of stuff. Slight, imperceptible c...
